Hi first time ROS user here. Im having issue installing ROS Kinetic to Ubuntu Xenial. I'm following the guide here: http://wiki.ros.org/kinetic/Installation/Ubuntu

I ran:

sudo apt-get update

The result:

Then when i run the install

sudo apt-get install ros-kinetic-desktop-full

The following packages have unmet dependencies: ros-kinetic-desktop-full : Depends: ros-kinetic-desktop but it is not going to be installed Depends: ros-kinetic-perception but it is not going to be installed Depends: ros-kinetic-simulators but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Try upgrading first (apt-get dist-upgrade)

Hi:

Have you installed Gazebo before installing ROS? If yes, then it is likely because the Gazebo installation, see the solution here
