I am working on a autonomous navigation robot that uses some RGB (or RGBD camera, if we find a cheap one), wired at its arm, which is at a distance of 4-5m.

Now, the options that I have found are GMSL cameras, MIPI-CSI2 cameras... all using SerDes for extending the wire. In some cases, even the USB3.0 is extended using industrial-level cable. But I don't find it feasible for rugged terrains. The GMSL and other SerDes cameras are pricey for me.

What options do I have for a cheap and long-wired camera interface?

P.S. I am using the Jetson Xavier AGX
